5 Things To Do When You Are In a Lockdown
While we're bored and locked down with almost 0 socializing, it can get overwhelming to be indoors
all the time especially people like us who've been used to heading out to the office everyday at least
5 times a week. But here are a few things you can do while you're quarantined that'll help you get
through all this extra time you may have found on your hands:
Read a book - yes now's the time to pick up that book you've been thinking of reading since forever.
just open it and start reading, there's no better time than now to do it. Reading can be more fun than
watching tv (how much of it can you watch?), so go on pick up a book and read it! if you're a slow
reader aim to read at least 25 pages, and if you're a quick reader aim for at least 100 pages a day?
But then that's just me being me, pick your own pace, the important thing is for you to pick up a book
and read!
Clean up and organize - with a wardrobe like mine (automatic I like to call it coz my clothes just fall
right into my hands as soon as I open the door) all this extra time is just the right time to clean it all up,
or organize things, to sort them and maybe give away all the extra things that you've not used in ages,
don't fit into anymore, or you think are outdated, just pack them up and give them away for charity.
Good time to be generous, good time to be clean, and good time to organize your daily mess into
something that'll make your life more simpler when you actually have your life back.
Digital Housekeeping - yes over the time we just add on things; more pictures to our albums, more
songs, more files, and all that digital junk that we keep piling in the hope to clean up one day, do i
need to say more? that day is here! just pick out a day in the week and have all your digital self sorted
out, delete things, free up space, sort them out so you know exactly where to find what.
Get up and move - we're locked in with naturally limited space to move around freely, no gyms, no
parks, we're just not getting enough exercise, so do some at home, go search YouTube for some kind
suits you and get moving, you don't want to come out of a lockdown with inches and kgs on you do you?
maybe even start that diet now, that you've been thinking of starting but just couldn't get to it coz it asked
for a lot of commitment? Well this is your golden chance don't lose it!
And lastly as a bonus something that'll easily get you through all this time
Post Lockdown To-Do List - yes yes go ahead and make one of those, all the things that you want to
do right now and can't because you can't leave home, just create a list of all those things and make
sure you get to do them once the lockdown is over, I already have a few things in mind... Had things
been normal, Mulan was releasing this weekend, I'd have gone watched it, that is at the top of my list,
followed by a whole bunch of eateries that i want to eat at.
I'm looking forward to seeing the end of these lockdown days, it's really not my thing to be home! Hoping
to meet you guys in real soon - how i miss humans!
